Gross and unprofessional. That's how 16-year-old Tiffany Geisen describes comments made by her English teacher at Enochs High School in Modesto, California.
Geisen says after her teacher received a layoff notices, she told the class of 15 and 16 year olds something Geisen says couldn't believe.
"How she was going to become a teacher a stripper and sell her eggs," said Geisen.
"You are in a position of authority. You don't make comments of that nature you are dealing with teenagers...teenagers who are very impressionable," said mom Anna Geisen.
Anna Geisen says she contacted the school district about the alleged comments and wants action taken.
Modesto City Schools say that staff member is now being investigated by the district.
Recently the school officials distributed more than 300 lay off notices to teachers, in an effort to close a 25 million dollar budget deficit.
Still one parent believes one teacher handled receiving the notice the wrong way.
"If anything, she needs to be positive because isn't that what school is suppose to reinforcing,” Geisen said.
