Shreveport Police Investigate 2 Early Morning Shootings

Shreveport police are investigating 2 early morning shootings. They both happened on Greenwood Road. The first occured just after 2:00 a.m. Authorities say shots were fired near the 3700 block of Greenwood. Officers saw a vehicle take off at a high speed. Police followed it to LSU Medical Center where they found a man shot in the back with a non-life threatening wound. The 2nd shooting took place 10 minutes later in the 4700 block of Greenwood Road. Officers say the victim was taken in a personal vehicle to LSU Hospital. The unidentified man was struck once with a possible life threatening wound. So far no arrests have been made.
