Thousands Turn-out for Health & Wellness Expo

Education, nutrition and the advancement of medical research -- Saturday, Shreveport hosted an event that was the first of its kind for the city. Vendors from across the U.S. participated in Louisianas health and wellness expo. The purpose of the expo was to provide people in the area with vital information about maintaining good health and acheiving a better quality of life. Organizers say more than 6,000 people attended the event. Four more expos are set for this year. The next will be in Baton Rouge. In October it will stop in Monroe.
