A memorial was held Thursday evening the First Baptist Church in Bossier, for Ashley Scott Pittman. A Bossier City native who was beaten to death by her husband. Family and friends gathered to speak about Ashley many talking about her smile. Shelli Johnson, Ashleys first cousin said " she was always smiling always energetic she was someone that people admired". Ashley became a teacher in Memphis, where she was living. Close friend for over twenty years Shelly Holbrook said " I remember seeing her at our reunion two moths ago and she was the same Ashley laughing and smiling you always wish you would have known that was the last time that you would see them again".
