Police in Tennessee are investigating the brutal Thanksgiving day murder of Bossier City native Ashley Scott. Scott`s husband, Jeffrey Scott, now faces first degree murder charges in her death. Police records show that Jeffrey Scott told investigators the pair had been drinking, then began arguing. Paramedics arrived on scene Thanksgiving day to find Jeffery Scott`s friend performing CPR on her. Ashley Scott graduated from Parkway High School in 1996, and Ouachita Baptist University in 2000. She was a high school teacher in the Memphis area at the time of her death. A memorial service for Ashley Scott will be held this Thursday at 6:00 pm at First Baptist Bossier.
