(Singapore) -- A new treaty is being worked on between the U.S. and Russia on nuclear weapons.
After a meeting with his Russian counterpart, President Obama said he believes a new treaty can be accomplished by the end of the year.
The current agreement between Washington and Moscow expires in early December.
Obama and the Russian president also discussed the way forward with Iran, with Russia warning Tehran is running out of time for a diplomatic solution to its nuclear controversy.
