Sex Crimes Detectives Arrest Suspected Molester

Shreveport Police Sex Crimes detectives have arrested a 34 year old Shreveport man on two counts of molestation of a juvenile.
Steven Johnson was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon on a Simple Battery warrant stemming from an incident in 1999. Johnson was booked into city jail on one count of forcible rape of a juvenile and one count of molestation of a juvenile. The victims were ages 14 and 11. However, it is believed that he may have molested other children as well. Reports were filed, but the cases never materialized.
