Robbery Suspect Arrested

37 year old Erik Hiegelmann has been arrested in connection with a Texas-side armed robbery on Sunday night. Police reports indicate Hiegelmann entered a Dollar General store in the 3500 block of New Boston Rd. and demanded cash from workers. Police say Hiegelmann concealed his face with a towel and covered his hands with socks. Hiegelmann fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, say police. He was later arrested at a friend's home after officers spotted the getaway car parked outside. He remains in the Bi-State Jail.
