Nine people are behind bars after a disagreement between two people escalated into a brawl. Shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday, Bossier City Police responded to reports of a fight outside the Buffalo Wild Wings at the Louisiana Boardwalk. Witnesses tell KTAL, two men were seen arguing over a football game, when they were asked to leave the premises. When the two stepped outside, witnesses say the fists started flying. Of the nine arrested, four are facing felony charges for allegedly inciting a riot. Some of the individuals are also facing charges of battery against a police officer and resisting arrest. Some witnesses say they think police used excessive force while trying to get the situation under control. "Once everything was under control, they [the police] were still irate. They were pulling batons out and beating people that were already in handcuffs. They were making people that were already in handcuffs," said witness Brandon Vantim. In response to the allegations, Bossier City Police Spokesperson Mark Natale says, "Just given the situation... Given the number of people involved... Peoples interpretations may be off the mark." Several witnesses have filed formal complaints against Bossier City Police.
