Countdown to Halloween is On

It’s time to pick out the perfect costume for Halloween. There are many places to get your costume, but Spirit Halloween superstore specializes in all things Halloween. NBC 6 spoke with owner Judy Hawthorn to find out which costumes are the big sellers in our area. She tells us for girls it would be Princesses costumes, lady bugs, and bumble bees. For boys Transformers is very big along with G.I. Joe. Hawthorn says the adults are leaning towards Vampire costumes because of the movie “Twilight” and costumes from past decades. Hawthorne says the stock on children’s costumes is already running low. If the costume you have your heart set on is already sold, Hawthorn said, “Many people are choosing to upgrade or accessorize a costume from last year. This is always an option.”
