Shreveport police met with residents in North Shreveport Wednesday. Police are hoping to find out about problems within the community, so they can try to solve them.
At the town hall meeting held by police residents got a chance to meet officers face to face and tell them what was on their minds. Police also brought in community leaders to hear what residents had to say. One of the issues brought up, the fatal accident that killed a little girl on North market and how the school board could address the issue. Residents also complained about possible criminal activity at the North Lakewood Apartments in North Shreveport.
Now that officers and city leaders are aware of the problems residents in North Shreveport face they can start working on solving them.
