The Dorcheat Seafood and Grill restaurant in Minden, La. is being held prisoner by water. Flood water from last week’s rain caused the Dorcheat Bayou to overflow its banks. It now surrounds the restaurant. Manager Jason Wesson said, “I went by this morning and hopefully we can reopen Wednesday.” The Wesson’s have owned the restaurant for two years and say it has been very successful. He says there’s been no water in the restaurant; the water would have had to come up another foot. “I just hope everyone will come back and see us like they used to once we reopen.” Wesson also says to give them a call to make sure they are open. The number is 371-9675.
