Glynis Ford traveled from London, England to sell her handmade cards and treasure boxes at the Red River Revel.

"The people are wonderful. Everything's so much slower here. In England, everybody rushes around and falls over each nearly it's so busy, people don't have the time to stop and chat. So it's really cool I love it, I love all the art" she says.

But she's not the only one showing international influence in downtown Shreveport.  Monica Fallini is from Uruguay and has sold art in the past three festivals. "It's a beautiful festival.  All the visitors admire art, they appreciate artists and their works so I feel really comfortable here" she says.

You will also see street walkers at the festival.  The Amazing Stilt Puppet performers' creator gets inspiration from South France.  But they like to think instead of being from just one country, they are part of your imagination.

If you have already been to the Revel, organizers say there are new things to see because some vendors only come for half of the week. The last day to revel is Saturday.
