Proposal Would Ban Commercial Drivers From Texting

A bill working its way through congress would require all states to enact laws banning commercial drivers from texting while driving. Supporters say the move would say lives. States that don't comply with the federal requirement would lose millions in highway dollars. Most people we talked to agree with the ban. 18 states including Texas and Arkansas, plus the District of Columbia already ban the practice.
