Update: Early Morning Pile-Up Diverts Traffic on Major Interstate

The Bossier City Police Department responded to a major accident involving several cars just after 7:00am this morning. According to the citys Public Information Officer, Mark Natale, six vehicles were involved in the accident on Interstate 20 near the Airline Drive exit. Traffic was then diverted from I-20 Westbound near Louisiana Downs to I-220. Three people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A tow truck removed four vehicles form the roadway. Crews cleared the scene within the hour.
