A major mission has started in the Arklatex. Law enforcement officers are joining forces to fight crime. The Shreveport police special response team is giving swat training. Caddo, Desoto and Shreveport officers are crawling through the mud and smoke, going the extra mile to keep you safe. "Its life or death, if you’re in a struggle out there with a bad guy and nobodys around to help you," SPD Sgt. David Derrick said. When a family is in crisis or a hostage situation, patrol officers are first to respond to your calls. This tactical training goes beyond police academy classes
