Escaped Inmate Captured

(St. Francisville) -- Authorities have captured a man who escaped from the state prison at Angola. Convicted killer Henry Smith, who's 44-years-old, was a trusty who was assigned to pick up litter along prison grounds, but was able to slip away Thursday. West Feliciana Parish authorities say a chase team spotted Smith this morning, shortly before 8 a.m. on a road connecting Louisiana Highway 66 to neighboring Wilkinson County, Mississippi.
