It's not hard to love your dogs, but it is hard to deal with the mess they leave behind. So what are you to do with your doggie do? Call in the pros.

"We go to individual yards, condos, business parks, apartment complexes, and basically pick up poop; dog poop,” explained Maria Jenning of “Get The Scoop”, a professional pet waste management company.

Samuel Jennings is a professional pooper scooper. He's also the man behind "Get The Scoop". Doggie debris is his specialty, and for a fee he'll clean up what your pup puts on the lawn.

"I get my scoop, get my trash bag, get my gloves, and get to work," said Samuel Jennings.

Sure it's unsightly and it can make a mess, but the feces fido leaves behind is also bad for the environment.

"When it rains it can get into the storm drains and get into our water system and get into lakes and rivers," added Maria Jennings.

And your doggies dropping don't make good fertilizer.

"It has a lot of bacteria and pathogens in it, that just isn't good for your yard," said Maria Jennings.

So get your canine on board with the cause. When it comes to man's best friend, going green is as easy as getting the scoop and picking up the poop.
