"Screwdriver Bandit" Hits Another Texarkana Bank

By: Mario Boone
Updated: August 17, 2009
Investigators got the call shortly before 5pm Monday afternoon.  The "Screwdriver Bandit" had struck another Texarkana bank.  This time the Wells Fargo branch at 600 Hickory St.  The suspect, clad in a hooded sweat shirt and dark glasses, brandished his signature weapon, a screwdriver.  He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Texarkana, AR detectives and the FBI are investigating the case.  Authorities say this suspect is the same assailant who robbed another Wells Fargo on Texas Blvd. last month.  They urge anyone who recognizes the suspect to call Crimestoppers at 903-793-STOP.  There is a reward.
