Two Bossier City teenagers face criminal charges for committing an estimated $20,000 in property damage at the Stonebridge Golf Course. 17-year-old Rick Eppler was arrested Friday on a warrant for entering a storage building at Stonebridge along with a 15-year-old male accomplice sometime late Sunday or early Monday and damaging three golf course along with other property. Two of the carts were also driven around a portion of the golf course causing damage to 4 greens.
The carts were also driven into a pond before being returned to the storage building. A third cart was damaged after it was driven into an interior wall of the storage building. The two also reportedly ransacked the building by dumping sand and numerous golf balls inside the structure and damaging other equipment.
Eppler was charged with unauthorized entry of a place of business, felony criminal property damage and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was arrested at the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. A charge of felony property damage is pending against the 15-year-old who is currently at the Bossier Juvenile Detention Center. Both were already in jail after being arrested by Bossier Parish Sheriff`s deputies early this week. The teens were wanted for shooting a truck in Bellvue and then leading deputies on a chase.
