Shreveport Convention Center Project Moving Forward

The finishing touches are being added to Shreveport`s Convention Center.
Besides waiting for an adjoining hotel, a few things had to be done inside.
"The interior signage is coming, the Convention Center is painted in 1,2 and 3, now we need the signage outside the rooms," said Debbi Foshee, Director of Sales and Marketing.
The Convention Center is in it`s busy season right now, with meetings and conventions booked through the fall.
Officials say more will be on the way when the Hilton project is completed. Hilton`s General Manager hopes to open the hotel`s doors in late February.
