DEVELOPING STORY-Elderly Woman Found Buried In Yard

The body of an elderly woman is found buried in her own yard. Authorities say, the Cass County Sheriff got a call from Linden`s Justice of the Peace, concerned about an elderly friend. A deputy interviewed 44-year-old Roger Salmon, the victim`s son. Police say Salmon told them he put his mother in a nursing home. Authorities then did a nursing home check in the area, and didn`t find her. Authorities went back to Salmon, that`s when officials say he admitted his mother died in September, and he buried her in the yard. Stay with KTAL for details as this story continues to develop.
