Both men were driving when the shootings occurred. The latest victim is 34 year old Gerald Jackson who was shot while he drove northbound in the 3300 block of Hearne Ave about 12:15 Monday morning. Jackson was stopped at a red light when a white Lincoln pulled up beside him and someone inside opened fire. Jackson was taken to Willis-Knighton North but died a short time later. ANOTHER MAN SHOT WHILE DRIVING Police are investigating a Saturday shooting that left 34 year old Troy Clark in critical condition. It happened just after Clark left a restaurant parking lot in the 4300 block of Hilry Huckaby. He was in the 1700 block of David Raines when someone drove up behind him and began shooting. Clark was hit in the neck and body but managed to make it back to the restaurant to get help. He was taken to LSU Hospital. His condition is currently unknown, but he was in critical condition as of Sunday.
