High-priced wheels get high-priced insurance rates.
According to the Insurance Services Office, the top 10 most expensive vehicles to insure are in order:
The Mercedes-Benz SL65, Lincoln Town Car BPS, BMW 760LI, AUDI A8L W12, Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG,
Volkswagen Phaeton W12, BMW M5, Jaguar XJ8 SUPER V8, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and the Land Rover Range Rover.
The rankings come from how much insurance companies expect to pay to repair their vehicle and considers how powerful it is as well as the cost of replacement parts.
