Inmate Found Dead In His Cell

An inmate was found dead shortly before 6:00 Thursday morning in his cell at the Telford Unit.
The 38 year old prisoner, whose name isn`t being released at this time, died of multiple stab wounds to his head, neck, and torso. EMS took him to Wadley Regional Medical center in Texarkana, the inmate was then pronounced dead. The office of the inspector general is investigating the incident.
