Couple Arrested In Connection To Death Of Their Infant

Shreveport police arrested 2 people around midnight after they were indicted by a Caddo Parish Grand Jury for the murder of their infant. 19-year-old Emmanuel Scott and 26-year-old Tiffany Woods are both charged with 2nd degree murder. The 5-month-old died in November 2005 after the family moved to Shreveport from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Officials say the baby died of malnutrition. According to the DA`s office, the baby essentially starved to death.
