Officer Mark Spencer of Stamps Arkansas assumed he would be fired monday evening after a town council meeting; instead the council decided not to make a decison regarding the officer. Spencer had been put on leave last month after an accident occured between him and the driver of an ATV. Spencer had been pursuing the man after he wouldn`t stop. During the chase, the driver of the ATV collided with the patrol car. Investigators said Spencer was not responsible for any wrong doing. Additionally, his name was cleared but the town of Stamps is still keeping him on paid leave.
