On Monday, July 9th, at 7:00 a.m., weather permitting, work crews will begin trying to remove a tractor-trailer from the median of Interstate 20 at milepost 56 in Bienville Parish. The inside eastbound lane will be closed for several hours, and it is likely both eastbound lanes will be closed for a period of time. Motorists traveling eastbound should use caution and expect delays and/or detours. Westbound motorists should also anticipate the same delays in the event that work crews removing the tractor-trailer decide to change their removal strategy after the recovery process begins. If the weather does not permit the safe recovery of the tractor-trailer on Monday, it will be removed on the next day after that with acceptable weather.
