Day Care Worker Sentenced For Child Desertion

A daycare worker responsible for a toddler that wandered into a busy Bossier City street pleaded guilty to child desertion Wednesday. Brandy Lacour was sentenced to one year supervised probation and child supervision classes by Bossier Parish District Judge, Jeff Cox. A woman driving on Airline Drive noticed a small boy roaming, turns out he was supposed to be at Mother Hubbard`s Lil` Feet Retreat in Lacour`s care. Two others have also been convicted in connection with the incident. Mother Hubbard`s Lil` Feet Retreat closed it`s doors. A new daycare with new owners is now operating in it`s former location.
