Ark-La-Tex Authorities Search For Newton County Woman

Ark-la-tex authorities need your help finding a 77-year-old woman who they say hasn`t been seen in nearly a week. Desoto Parish Officers tell Newschannel Six, that Janet Watson left her home in Newton County, Texas last Sunday on her way to Tenaha, Texas. She was last seen leaving a Logansport truck stop casino by a security guard. Investigators say she was carrying about a thousand dollars in cash. By 11 P.M. Monday night her truck was found burning off a highway. Investigators tell us they`re hoping for the best, but are fearing the worst.
