Man Wanted By SPD After Firing Shots

Shreveport police are looking for a man wanted for illegal use of a weapon in a shooting that occurred about 9 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 1700 block of David Raines. Deontre "Manny" Caldwell, 37, of Shreveport allegedly shot at occupants inside of a car, causing the driver of the car to run into a fence. No one was hit by the gunfire, although windows of the car were broken out. Anyone with information on Caldwell`s whereabouts is asked to call Detective Lane Smith at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
