Burglary Suspect Killed

gShreveport police are investigating an early morning burglary attempt where the suspect wound up dead. It happened just before 3 this morning in the 1000 block of Carlsbad. Police say the suspect was caught off guard when an occupant of a town house saw someone breaking into a storage shed. The occupant of the town house was armed. The suspect was shot when the two began to struggle. Police say the suspect then fled of foot. He was later found dead. Right now there is no word on whether charges will be filed. The investigation is on going.
