Cell phone disruption for Cingular Wireless customers could soon be a trouble of the past.
Officials say the network intergration in Shreveport-Bossier was completed Tuesday night.
The intergration was part of a merger with AT&T that began two years ago. Technicians have been working in the area figuring out what cell towers to use and how network calls will be routed, that`s the reason for service disruption and dropped calls.
"Along the way there have been some hiccups and disruptions and we apologize to customers for what they have experienced, "said Cingular Customer Service Representative, Dawn Benton.
The intergration continues in Monroe. It is expected to finished by the end of the month. Cingular still has about 50 technicians on the ground in Shreveport-Bossier monitoring the new system.
