Hollywood and Jewella Shooting

sShreveport police are searching for a gunman that shot a 22-year old man this morning. The shooting occured Thursday at around 5:00am at the corner of Jewella and Hollywood. Investigators say Derrick Harris, the victim, flagged down a car that looked familiar to him. When he approached the vehicle, the suspect shot him several times, striking him once in the arm.  Harris was taken to Willis Knighton Hospital. Police believe that the suspect was driving a brown Chevrolet or a Crown Victoria.
