The death of a two year-old in Caddo Parish has authorities asking questions. The toddler`s ,43 year-old, father was supposed to drop the boy off at daycare on his way to work. "The father didn`t do that and went on to work; it wasn`t till after five that the father realized when he got back to his car the tragedy, " said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator. The father rushed the boy to Willis Knighton North but Prator says it was too late, meanwhile the mother tried to figure out what was happening after being told her son never made it to daycare. The Sheriff`s Office and D.A. are determining if any charges will be filed but no arrests have been made at this time. Prator says this incident is a reminder for all parents to always look in the back seat. He suggests having a stuffed animal in the safety seat. When a child is placed in the seat, Prator says place the stuffed animal in the front seat to serve as a reminder and save a life.
