Committee Approves Louisiana Minimum Wage Increase

The Louisiana House Labor Committee has approved a bill that would raise the state's minimum wage. Under the measure the lowest paid workers in the state would go from five-15 to seven-15 per hour by July 1st 2008. It now goes to the full House.
