Just after ten oclock Saturday night, Shreveport Detectives were radioed to Abilene Street. A homeowner had reported hearing shots fired in the 300 block. When they arrived on scene, the responding officers found the body of 34 year old Keesha Avery. It was riddled with bullet wounds, but investigators report no gunman on scene. During interviews in the area, the officers learned that a large white car was seen speeding from the crime scene. The victim is from Humble, Texas. The people who live in the house where her body was dumped claim they do not recognize her.
