A suspect wanted by Bossier Police is recovering tonight in intensive care after the car he was riding in crashed while fleeing from police. It happened just after 10:30 last night at Sycamore and Ashton Streets. Authorities say 38-year-old Earton Smith and the un-identified driver, stole the car earlier that night and when officers pulled up to them, sped off losing control. Smith was wanted on attempted second degree murder charges for a March shooting near Bossier Elementary School among other charges.
