New Mission at Barksdale Could Mean More Jobs

cThe Air Force's new mission could end up proving to be beneficial for the economy in Bossier Parish. Along with local officials the state's congressional delegation is backing the plan. State officials want to see the new cyber command center come into the parish. Shreveport's Mayor Cedric Glover is also supporting the idea. The Secretary of the Air Force will be the one who makes the final decision on whether or not Barksdale gets the command center.
