Shreveport Police Search For Burglary Suspect

Whats unique about the suspect is what he is taking. The man is shattering bank windows to get away with large amounts of coins. Police say they are confident they will be able to catch the suspect soon because there are several things that stand out about him. The suspect wears the same clothes and backpack to every burglary and only takes coins.

Locals recount past tornadoes

The recent tornado coverage is bringing up memories of past twisters in our area.  Bossier Parish was hit by multiple tornadoes in 2009.

Just last Thursday, Waskom and Greenwood were hit by an EF-1 tornado.

A Bossier Parish man recalls the tornado which touched down near Swan Lake Road in 1978.  A man who survived a tornado in Benton in 1999 also shared his story.
