Two Elderly Drivers Killed In Collision

Two elderly drivers were killed overnight after a head-on collision in Webster Parish. It happened north of Cotton Valley. According to state troopers, 74-year-old Roy Balentine of Sarepta was traveling north on US 371 when he crossed the center line into the path of 84-year-old Mary Elledge of Cotton Valley. Both drivers died as a result of the crash. Troopers say Balentine was not wearing a seat belt.
