Shreveport police late Thursday announced the arrest of 47-year-old LIndsey Sims of Shreveport. An anonymous tip led police to a hotel room at the Lakeshore Inn, where Sims was found. Sims faces a first degree robbery charge for allegedly walking into the bank around 10:00 Wednesday morning and handing the teller a note saying he had a gun and demanding money. Sims is the second person arrested in connection to the crime. Just minutes after the robbery, a man was arrested fitting Sims description...but police later determined he had been in the bank, as a customer, 2 minutes before Sims allegedly walked in.
