Shreveport Police and Louisiana State Police troopers ended up taking drugs off the street with the arrest of a Shreveport man early Sunday. Police say 27-year-old Marcus Simpson tried to escape during a narcotics search only to get caught by 2 state troopers. Simpson was arrested and charged with possession of ecstasy, marijuana, battery of an officer, four warrants and resisting an officer.
