A man who came to the Ark-La-Tex for shelter during Hurricane Katrina, is now locked up for a crime against a juvenile. Police say the New Orleans evacuee has already confessed to the crime after turning himself in. 48-Year-Old Kenneth Sanders is charged with aggravated rape after he gave a recorded confession to Shreveport Police. Authorities say Sanders claimed to have repeated sexual intercourse with an 11-Year-Old in June of this year. Officers even go on the record saying a relative of the juvenile caught the suspect and the victim performing a sexual act. The investigation is continuing. Sanders was booked into the city jail without incident pending transfer to Caddo Correctional Center.
