Woman Killed In Single Car Crash

Caddo Deputies say 69-year-old Shirley L. Reed of Carthage, Texas was killed following a single car crash in Greenwood, Louisiana. The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. Monday. Witnesses told Caddo Parish Deputies that the vehicle appeared to fail to negotiate a curve at the intersection of West 70th street and Highway 80, striking a traffic light pole, then catching on fire. The crash is under investigation.
