breaking news
People living in Bossier City made their voices heard by telling council members what they wanted. The city council listened to their concerns. They voted against curb cuts on the parkway. UL Coleman and Companies had plans to build a new project. But after the ordinance was passed developers say they will now have to consider and study what the city plans to do with the roads around the Centurytel, so they can decide on what to build. Bossier City mayor Lo Walker says he welcomes the development.
"So Im hoping that there`s perhaps some sort of compromise that can be reached that`s satisfactory for the developer and the city council."
City council members and the mayor say they never intended to halt development with their decision. And both hope UL Coleman and Companies will find a way to work around the no curb cuts ordinance.
