The town of Vivian has been ordered to boil their water for most likely another day. The slight discoloration of the water is the reason why the boil order went out Thursday. Town officials attribute the problem to the recent storm drastically changed the levels of Caddo Lake. Vivian mayor Steven Taylor put out the warning saying “there was a big change in the lake and of course we have to make changes in the treatment process to accommodate that.” Town officials expect the problem to be cleared up before Sunday.
