A million dollars worth of illegal drugs are now off the streets of East Texas. Gregg County Sheriff's deputies made the bust while working a traffic stop along Interstate 20 near Estes Parkway. Police say 31-year-old Cedric Payne of New Orleans was stopped for speeding and after a search a K-9 sniffed out 5 kilos of suspected cocaine stored in his vehicle's trunk. According to agents assigned to the DEA task force, the current street value of the seized cocaine is estimated at one million dollars.
