Bossier City police are asking the public for help in locating an Alabama woman reported missing from today’s Living Proof Live event held at the CenturyTel Center. Mary Byrne Smith, 30, of Summerdale, Alabama was attending today’s event with a friend when she left her friend to use the restroom and get some food at a concession stand at approximately 11 a.m. Smith did not return. When the event ended at noon, Smith’s friend waited for her at their car in the parking lot. The friend then contacted Bossier City police at approximately 2 p.m. after Smith did not show up. At this point in the investigation, Bossier City police have no indication of foul play in Smith’s disappearance. Family and friends say that it is uncharacteristic of Smith to leave without contacting anyone and are concerned for her welfare. Smith is a white female, 5’3”, 100 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair and has a tattoo of the sun on her right rear shoulder. Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts is asked to call Bossier City police at (318) 741-8605.
