Cab Driver Victim of Armed Robbery

A cab driver says he's a victim of an armed robbery and says the suspect is a juvenile he tried to give a ride to school. The robbery took place around 6:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of Southern Avenue. The driver says he was going to drive another customer when the suspect asked for a ride to school in Queensborough. At that point, the driver tells KTAL the suspect pulled out a weapon. The driver's money was taken and the suspect fled on foot. If you have any information on this case contact police.
